Hello!
My name is Lynn Lombardo, and I am a psychotherapist.
Welcome and thank you for visiting my site.
As a psychotherapist, I focus on helping people express their feelings.
Feelings are OK as long as we don’t hurt ourselves, hurt others, or destroy anything.
But we often haven’t learned how to express our feelings or don’t feel safe in doing so.
We sometimes shame ourselves for what we are feeling and then cope by repressing and internalizing our feelings.
This leads to emotional difficulties and physical problems.
Or we lash out, causing problems in our relationships.
In addition, we repeatedly go over things in our head, engaging in negative self-talk.
These thoughts lead to stories that we create and then ultimately the beliefs we have about ourselves, often of inadequacy.
We become stuck, caught in this endless loop, unable to move forward in our lives.
I CAN HELP YOU CHANGE THIS PATTERN.
As a psychotherapist I can help you:
manage your feelings in a healthy manner,
know and express your real and fully empowered self,
speak your truth,
and
move forward and create the life you want for yourself.
Because, really, that’s what we’re here to do.
“Our feelings are always the primary causes of the conditions or effects in our lives. Our lives are initially controlled by our feelings, which, in turn, create our thoughts. Everything we are today is the sum total of all the feelings we have had to this moment. If we wish our lives to be different in the future, it is necessary to change our feelings, which then changes our thinking, in the present. By so doing, we change the direction of our lives!” Feelings: Buried alive never die… Karol K. Truman
